Not sure why they have such a low rating. Perhaps it’s because people who have only had poor experiences take the time to write a review, but I digress…

My home warranty (American Home Shield) assigned the Furnace Doctors to come by for a tune-up on my gas furnace.

Scheduling on the phone was easy, and they followed through on their appointment window. The service rep (JJ) came on time and handled everything professionally. He shared tips on my furnace and walked me through the entire process. It was a great learning opportunity and JJ was fantastic! JJ far exceeded my expectations.

I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous reading the reviews, but in hindsight, it seems the negative reviews are based on customer expectations for timing, which is out of the hands of a vendor contracted via an insurance company. The insurance company needs to approve the work, and no vendor I’ve ever worked with will take the risk of doing work prior to getting approval from the insurance company.

I’d like to thank JJ for the time he spent on my furnace and hope that this review gives potential customers more comfort.
